I wanted to take a moment to share my experience working with Brittany O’Sullivan, who has been my personal trainer, yoga instructor, and over time, a wonderful friend.
I met Brittany in my early 70s, shortly after retiring and deciding it was time to get serious about my health and fitness. When I joined a gym, Brittany was the trainer assigned to me—and I couldn’t have been luckier. She developed a thoughtful and personalized fitness program that helped me build strength, improve my stamina, and feel better overall.
When Brittany later moved to Kingston, I didn’t think twice about following her there. Her guidance and support had become such an important part of my routine. During the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Brittany continued to be a constant presence. We met regularly for outdoor walks on the K&P Trail and along the lakeshore, and she even came to my home to help me stay active and motivated. Her commitment, flexibility, and kindness meant the world to me.
Now, at 82, I continue to meet with Brittany weekly for yoga sessions. These classes are always excellent—well-paced, encouraging, and perfectly suited to my abilities and goals.
Brittany is more than a skilled trainer and instructor—she is someone who truly cares about the people she works with. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had her guidance and friendship over the years.

Brittany’s strength is honouring your wellness needs. We needed someone who would help us stay as strong & active as possible. We were also looking for someone who would help with our own motivation by training us together. Brittany took us on. She finds a way to guide and monitor our work outs and challenges us - but not with anything she knows we cannot do. After 6 years we are still ‘pumped’ to check in with Brittany for our weekly workouts and to follow these up with our own walks and recreational activities. She has been a great coach!

I started to do yoga classes with Brittany after my former instructor moved out of town. I'm incredibly happy with Brittany's teaching style. Her wide knowledge of yoga and other fitness-related practices is very helpful when work-arounds are required. For example, when one of my knees is uncomfortable in a particular position or exercise she can pivot and come up with an effective solution. Her classes are collaborative so that we students can say that we feel higher energy, or not so energetic, and she'll tailor the class to give us a good workout that ends up with us all feeling great afterwards. Brittany also has a subtle spirituality that, definitely for me, brings an additional calming and healing sense to her practices.
